Erik ten Hag press conference LIVE Manchester United team news and updates for Omonia fixture

Erik ten Hag will speak at his pre-match Manchester United press conference on Wednesday afternoon.

United were defeated 6-3 in the Manchester derby at the weekend and Ten Hag will demand an immediate response from his players against Omonia in the Europa League, with the Reds playing away in Cyprus at the 22,000-capacity GSP Stadium.

Ten Hag's side trained at Carrington on Wednesday morning and Raphael Varane and Harry Magure were absent. Varane picked up an injury in the first half of the defeat at the Etihad, while Maguire sustained an injury on international duty with England.

Donny van de Beek and Aaron Wan-Bissaka were also absent from training as they remain sidelined. Ten Hag will give an update on the team news at his press conference ahead the team's flight to Cyprus on Wednesday afternoon.

He'll speak to the press in 10 minutes.

Ten Hag will be joined by Bruno Fernandes.

United will be looking to bounce back immediately following their 6-3 drubbing at the hands of Manchester City on Sunday and have a great opportunity to do so against Omonia Nicosia. Erik ten Hag does have a selection dilemma on his hands as to whether he names a strong side so his first teamers have a chance to redeem themselves or to rotate heavily for the trip to Cyprus, especially with a tricky away day at Goodison Park coming at the weekend.

Varane picked up an injury in the first half of the defeat at the Etihad and was off the pitch receiving treatment when an unmarked Erling Haaland nodded in the second goal. Sources
