Erik ten Hag press conference LIVE Manchester United team news for FC Sheriff fixture

Erik ten Hag will speak to the media today ahead of Manchester United's match against FC Sheriff.

Ten Hag will speak at his pre-match press conference ahead of the Europa League group stage clash and he'll give team news for the fixture, while he'll also answer questions about the Real Sociedad defeat and the postponement of Premier League games.

Aaron Wan-Bissaka, Donny van de Beek, Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial did not train on Wednesday afternoon — Martial continues to be sidelined with an Achilles injury — at Carrington and Ten Hag will be asked about those four players.

FC Sheriff beat Omonia 3-0 in their opening Europa League match last week and they played in the Champions League last season. The Moldovan champions notably beat Real Madrid and Shakhtar Donetsk in the group stage of that competition and will be gunning for an upset against United.

Erik ten Hag has confirmed his 25-man United squad for the Premier League season.

United signed Martin Dubravka, Tyrell Malacia, Lisandro Martinez, Casemiro, Christian Eriksen and Antony this summer and all six of the new signings have been named in the squad, which was officially confirmed for the 2022/23 season on Wednesday.

The Premier League's rules outline that each squad contains no more than 17 players who do not fulfil the 'Home Grown Player' criteria, which means the rest of the squad must be homegrown and Cristiano Ronaldo is an example of a player eligible for that list.
