By the time Manchester United's players arrive at Old Trafford on Thursday evening, they will have seen more of Omonia Nicosia in the past week than they have of the Theatre of Dreams in the past month.

It means that United's supporters and players might need a few minutes just to get their bearings on Thursday evening, such is the length of their absence from their home patch. The visit of Omonia, however, will mark United's fourth game already this month, such is the volume of fixtures they must cram in before the World Cup gets under way in less than six weeks time.
United play nine times in just 29 days this month, so there is next to no time for Ten Hag's players to catch their breath and enjoy a breather. The upcoming clash with Omonia presents an ideal opportunity for Ten Hag to rotate his pack and make the most of his squad.
