Erik ten Hag decision makes Manchester United problem position plan clear
Manchester United have spent £200million on right-wingers across the last four years and the player currently starting in that position was signed for a pittance. Alejandro Garnacho joined the academy from Atletico Madrid when he was just a teenager for under £500,000 and he's played on the right in four successive matches.
Garnacho was recently asked on a gaming stream which position he preferred - the left or right wing - and he intelligently responded: "being on the pitch."
There was always a suspicion Garnacho would be just as effective on the right and he was outstanding when playing that role for the first time against Aston Villa during the festive period.

Garnacho single-handedly dragged United back into that game and he's started on the right in each match since, which has certainly given £86m signing Antony food for thought.
Erik ten Hag was asked about Antony at his last press conference and said: "I can explain I think it's very simple. His off-field issues stop him playing. First year was okay, the pre-season was very okay, first four games was very good.
"I've seen the game against Spurs back and he played a very good game but from the moment he was out and then he came back and didn't deliver the performance you should expect from him and he can do so much better."
Although it might be true that Antony's off-field issues have not helped his performances, he's not looked like a player capable of succeeding in England since arriving from Ajax.
The right wing has been a problem position for United over the years and Antony is the latest to have been signed for that
