Erik Ten Hag could unlock Manchester United transfer boost with new attacking solution
Manchester United will prioritise a centre-forward in the summer transfer window but Erik Ten Hag could have a wildcard in attack. The Reds boss is keen to bolster his squad this summer with a number nine the number one target.

Amad has scored 12 Championship goals, adding three assists and he was shortlisted for the division's Young Player of the Season, eventually losing out to Bristol City's Alex Scott. In a very young squad, Amad has blossomed under Tony Mowbray's guidance and has taken on the mantle as a key difference maker in the side.
The Black Cats' injury problems in attack mean Amad has not been restricted to a right-wing role. That is the best position of former Manchester City talent Patrick Roberts and incorporating both in the same team has meant the Manchester United loanee has played centrally too.
