Erik ten Hag could target new left-back this summer for Manchester United as three options emerge

Erik ten Hag has a number of areas to address upon his arrival in England at the end of the current campaign. The soon-to-be Manchester United boss will have to strengthen his squad ahead of next season.

The Red Devils need more options in several departments. Ten Hag could even sanction a move for a new left-back given the recent form of Alex Telles and the fitness struggles encountered by Luke Shaw since the turn of the year.

Borna Sosa is a talent who seems virtually guaranteed to move this summer. He's contracted to Stuttgart at the moment, but a number of top clubs have expressed an interest in his services including Barcelona, Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur.

The Croatian international is 24 years-old and since achieving promotion to the Bundesliga last season, he's registered an impressive haul of 16 assists. Sosa has proved to be quite the creative outlet for Stuttgart, having also contributed to ball progression from deeper areas.

He possesses a pinpoint delivery from crosses and often takes set-pieces for his team, which is a trait that he shares with Shaw and Telles. As an offensive full-back who could keep improving at Old Trafford, Sosa appears destined for a big move.
