Chloe Kelly is England’s hero after her goal brought football home.

And just when every England fan was starting to think about the dreaded penalty shootout against Germany, Kelly seized her moment.

The Germans failed to clear a dangerous corner and Kelly was on hand to poke the ball home from close range.

Cue pandemonium by the 87,192 attendance – an all-time record in both men’s and women’s Euros.

Kelly produced an iconic celebration as she wheeled away with her shirt over her head. It was her first ever international goal and what a time to score it.

She may have been booked for her celebrations but that’s a small price to pay for bringing football home.
