England win Euro 2022: Alessia Russo looked at German tactical note in final

Alessia Russo was caught cheekily taking a look at Germany’s tactical instructions written on a note during the Euro 2022 final.

England brought football home after beating Germany 2-1 after extra-time at Wembley.

And Russo was involved in a brilliant moment just minutes after Chloe Kelly’s winner in the 110th-minute.

German substitute, Sara Doorsoun-Khajeh, was given instructions by Martina Voss-Tecklenburg as the they looked to equalise late in the final.

However, Russo took a less than subtle peek over Doorsoun-Khajeh’s shoulder in an attempt to read the note.

“This is what dreams are made of,” Russo added. “As a young girl watching women’s football and now this, it’s unbelievable. These girls are special, the manager is special, and what a special group of staff. This is amazing. All my family are in the crowd. My mum, all my brothers, my sister, all my
