England have won Euro 2022 and we’re still processing the fact that football has actually come home.

Sarina Wiegman’s side triumphed 2-1 over Germany after extra time at a sold-old Wembley to send an entire nation into jubilant scenes of victory.

It was a tense and nervy first half with very little to separate the two sides.

Again, the first half of that extra time was tense and attentions were beginning to turn towards the dreaded penalty shootout.
