England vs Spain: Women's Euro 2022 quarter-final date, kick-off time and ticket details

All focus turns to the quarter-finals for England at the Women’s Euro 2022, with the Lionesses now knowing who they’ll face in the knockout stages.

England have had their place in the last eight secure for some time, having guaranteed top spot in Group A with their 8-0 thrashing of Norway. They closed out the group stage in style on Friday with a 5-0 win over Northern Ireland to make it three wins out of three.

And they now know they’ll face Spain in the quarter-finals, following their win over Denmark in their final group game. The clash will see two of the tournament favourites battle it out as they look to take another step towards Wembley on July 31.

Here’s what you need to know about England’s quarter-final against Spain, including details about how to get tickets.

The two sides will meet in the first quarter-final on Wednesday, July 20. The match is due to kick off at 8pm.

The game will be held at Brighton’s Amex Stadium. It will be the second time England have played there in the tournament, with their previous visit resulting in that demolition of Norway.

Like all games at this summer's tournament, England's quarter-final will be broadcast on the BBC. It's due to be shown live on BBC One, with coverage starting at 7.30pm, while it will also be available to be streamed on BBC iPlayer and the BBC Sport website.

Fans wanting to follow the Lionesses or any other nation can purchase tickets for the quarter-finals via the UEFA website, which requires supporters to sign up to a free account. Tickets start at £10 for Category 3, and rise up to £20 for Category 2 and £30 for Category 1.

UEFA have also announced additional tickets for the quarter-finals will be released from Saturday, July 16. A limited number of tickets
