England vs Slovakia team news 'leaked' as Man United duo Kobbie Mainoo and Luke Shaw learn fate

Manchester United midfielder Kobbie Mainoo is reportedly set to start for England in their Euro 2024 Round of 16 clash with Slovakia this weekend.

Mainoo was deployed as a second-half substitute during the Three Lions' goalless draw with Slovenia earlier this week and is now to set to feature from the off as Gareth Southgate searches for new inspiration from his struggling side.

Midfield has proven to be a problem position at Euro 2024 for the Three Lions, with both Trent Alexander-Arnold and Conor Gallagher being unable to convince Southgate they are the right partner for Declan Rice in the centre of the pitch.

Now looking to turn to Mainoo, The Daily Telegraph have claimed the United star is "in line to start" against Slovakia after impressing in England's previous match.
