England unchanged for first time in 16 matches

FRANKFURT, Germany : England manager Gareth Southgate made no changes to his starting lineup versus Denmark from the side that defeated Serbia 1-0 in their Euro 2024 opener, led by captain Harry Kane and including No. 10 Jude Bellingham, scorer of their goal against the Serbs.

It is the first time in 16 games that Southgate has fielded an unchanged lineup in consecutive matches.

Left back Kieran Trippier will win his 50th cap for England, playing in place of Luke Shaw, who is recovering from injury.

Joakim Maehle will start in the Danish back line in place of Alexander Bah. Denmark manager Kasper Hjulmand made no other changes to the team that drew 1-1 with Slovenia on a goal from midfielder Christian Eriksen. Rasmus Hojlund and Jonas Wind are the Danes' two attackers.

Simon Kjaer, who missed Denmark's opening game, is on the bench.
