England Slammed On Social Media, Called 'Cheats' For Claiming And Celebrating Grounded Catch Of Yashasvi Jaiswal

The second day of the fourth India vs England Test has seen an intriguing contest. After England got all out for 353 in the first innings, the Indian cricket team got an early jolt as Rohit Sharma fell cheaply. However, young guns Shubman Gill and Yashavi Jaiswal stitched a solid stand to fend off the England attack. Both batters scored at a steady rate before Shpiab Bashir scalped the wicket of Shubman Gill. before that, there was a controversial moment in the day's play, when England started celebrating after a grounded catch of Yashasvi Jaiswal.

The incident happened in the 20th over of India's innings with Ollie Robinson bowling to Yashasvi Jaiswal. After looking at the first replay, Ben Stokes and Co. started celebrating as the ball was edged by the Indian batter and went to wicketkeeper Ben Foakes. The third umpire decided after a couple of replays that the fall had dropped.

England thought they had Yashasvi Jaiswal dismissed caught behind, but replays showed the ball hit the ground, putting a halt to the celebrations.#INDvENG pic.twitter.com/RgDhy7qOF5

England players are so rattled by Yashasvi Jaiswal that they sacrificed all their principles regarding Spirit Of Cricket and started appealing for a grounded catch.

Next, they may finally try to run someone out at the non striker's end.

"These England cricketers are f****** cheats. Look at their cheap expressions as soon as the third umpire gave Yashasvi Jaiswal not out. It seems they have gone blind," wrote another X user by the name of @ShivaramManjun2

England were left wondering as a caught-behind decision of Yashasvi Jaiswal went against them
