England fans leave EARLY to ‘beat traffic’ and miss epic comeback against Slovakia

This is the moment a small group of England fans missed the comeback win over Slovakia after leaving early in what turned out to be an epic fail.

Gareth Southgate's men were facing elimination in the face before Real Madrid superstar Jude Bellingham stepped up with a 95th minute acrobatic equaliser to save their blushes. Up to that point it had been a poor display from the Three Lions with supporters showing their frustrations online and in the ground with a chorus of boos meeting the team at half-time as they trailed at the interval.

Pundits like Gary Neville and Roy Keane didn't hold back in their assessments in the studio but England survived an almighty scare to book a spot in the quarter-final of Euro 2024 as they keep their hopes alive in Germany. Sky News journalist Tyrone Francis shared footage from outside the ground in Gelsenkirchen as a group of fans made their way out of the game. Asking what they made of the performance one of the fans responded: "s***e".

Asked what needs to happen next, the same supporter replied: "Southgate is gone. He's gone isn't he? On his holiday and the players pick up the next two years." When Francis said to his mate "You are leaving early?" he responded: "Only because we don't want to get caught on the tram!" The answer sparked a smile and laugh from his pal.
