'Emotional' Molly-Mae Hague declares 'I tried' as she starts tradition for Bambi on first birthday

Molly-Mae Hague has admitted to being 'emotional' over her daughter's first birthday as she started a brand new tradition with her little girl. The doting mum and her fiance Tommy Fury will be marking Bambi turning one on Tuesday (January 23).

The couple, who met and fell in love on Love Island in 2019, welcomed their first child into the world in a London hospital last year before bringing her back up north to their Cheshire home. With the special day upon them, on Monday night (January 22), both Molly-Mae and Tommy admitted to feeling the emotions of their daughter getting older.

Sharing a picture of himself cradling a tiny Bambi, Tommy, 24, wrote on his Instagram Story: "Time goes so fast," alongside a red heart. Meanwhile, Molly-Mae, also 24, posted a video of the couple doting on their little girl.

"Goodnight my baby.... See you in the morning when you're ONE," Molly-Mae typed to her millions of followers on her Instagram Story alongside a string of crying emojis before adding Declan McKenna's version of Abba track 'Slipping Through My Fingers'.

She then shared a black and white picture of the family of three and said: "I'm not an emotional person... but wow. The way I feel about my little girl turning one tomorrow has really taken me by surprise. Someone pass me the tissues," she added alongside another crying emoji.

Meanwhile, Molly-Mae was asked by her fans to show them Bambi's first birthday cake which she had previously shown herself practising baking. Sharing a picture of the final creation, the influencer said: "I tried,"
