Emmerdale's Kim Tate star Claire King reveals request to show bosses amid hidden health battle

Emmerdale star Claire King has revealed her request to show bosses who have been supportive over her hidden health battle. The actress appeared on ITV's Lorraine on Friday (November 3) after it was revealed her on-screen character was involved in a fresh death in the soap.

Claire is famed for playing Kim Tate in the ITV soap and while she didn't commit the murder of Craig Reed, she is hiding something alongside Cain Dingle. The Dingles were instantly under suspension by Lydia after her rapist was found dead in the fields of Home Farm.

A lock-in at the Woolpack saw Lydia question her family, who each gave their alibis one by one before flashbacks revealed that they were actually hiding secrets unrelated to Craig's death.

It was during Thursday night's episode (November 2) that Sam confessed to thinking he was the one who killed Craig after he beat him up after holding him hostage in an abandoned barn with the help of his brother Cain. He offered to hand himself into the police, however, as the Dingles were left reeling over the confession and quickly tried to help Sam come up with an alibi.

But as ever, Cain looked shifty and it didn't go unnoticed by brother Caleb Milligan, especially as Cain had asked him to lie about his alibi. Meanwhile, over at Home Farm, Kim helped the police with their enquiries as she pointed out that her beloved horse was missing. Later, in a flashback, the pieces of the puzzle, and Kim's involvement, was revealed.
