Emmerdale icon 'to be killed off' on Christmas Day - and it's not good for Kim Tate

Emmerdale has seemingly confirmed the grim fate of a villager, leaving Kim Tate in for a surprise.

Recently in the Dales, Will Taylor (played by Dean Andrews) reignited his relationship with Kim Tate (portrayed by Claire King), much to the astonishment of viewers. Fans will remember how Will was unfaithful to Kim earlier this year and subsequently found himself being blackmailed.

The blackmailer tormented Will, even creating the illusion that Kim had been killed. However, it later transpired that Kim was the mastermind behind everything after discovering his betrayal.

Kim and Will then engaged in a bitter feud, with Kim resolute that he wouldn't lay claim to her wealth. She also enlisted the help of financial advisor Peter, with whom she had a brief fling.

However, Kim recently decided to end her dispute with Will, as well as their impending divorce, realising she still harboured feelings for him. Will seemed to reciprocate these feelings and the pair swiftly rekindled their romance, planning to renew their vows on Christmas Day, reports Leeds Live.

But things took an unexpected twist when it was unveiled that Peter and Will have been conspiring together for months, all part of a scheme to bring down Kim. Moreover, Peter isn't acting alone - he's collaborating with an enigmatic individual who is intent on ruining Kim's life.

So far, scant details have been provided about the identity of this person, other than that they are presumably male and currently overseas. Even Will is in the dark about their identity, left stunned when he discovered someone else was involved in his and Peter's plot.
