Emmerdale fans think they have spotted a 'lie' and think it's 'obvious' that a former couple will soon be reunited. It was a big night in the ITV soap on Tuesday (February 13) for fans of Charity Dingle and Vanessa Woodfield as they finally came face-to-face after years apart.
As viewers of Emmerdale know, the pair have a long history and Charity, who is currently married to Mackenzie Boyd, was taken aback to see her former flame back in the village, with her son Johnny in tow, after she made a return for the first time in over a year after actress Michelle Hardwick took maternity leave to welcome her second child into the world.
Vanessa had left for a new life and a dream job in Canada fourteen months ago but she jetted back to the Dales days ago to support her best friend Rhona Goskirk who, at the time, was on the run with baby Ivy. After Rhona's spell away with her biological daughter ended with her being arrested, Vanessa returned to the village with Johnny.

As she made herself back at home, Vanessa bumped into Charity at the local shop and her son Moses was thrilled to be reunited with his former step-brother, and the pair instantly ran off to play. But as Mack watched the two women, seemingly checking that sparks weren't flying between the pair, Charity assured him that the complete opposite was the case.
"It was like the old days," Charity shared wistfully, reminiscing about her past life. "Don't know where you get your energy from, you barely slelpt again last night," Mack said carefully. As Charity tried to focus on Johnny and Moses being
