Emmerdale fans say 'she definitely knows' as they work out who will help Lydia after 'look' - and it's not Kim

Emmerdale fans think they have spotted a moment which will lead to one member of the Dingle clan finding out what has happened to Lydia. Viewers of the ITV soap have been left heartbroken for the character, played by Karen Blick, who has stayed silent over Craig Reed's attack on her.

Her childhood friend came back into her life after bumping into him at a jobs fair at the Hide. The pair ended up bonding after Lydia told Craig she had given birth to their stillborn baby when they were in a teenage relationship while living in the same children's home before visiting the spot where she buried him.

After an awkward moment between the pair, Lydia was keen to shut down any thoughts Craig may be having about them rekindling a romance as she's happy with her husband, Sam Dingle. But in shocking scenes, he forced himself on Lydia and raped her.

She has since been unable to tell anyone about her ordeal and has been suffering in silence as Craig, who believes it was consensual and that he has done nothing wrong, manipulates her into keeping quiet otherwise she'll ruin everything she has with Sam. He has also taken on her stepson Samson Dingle for work experience and so Lydia doesn't want to jeopardise that either.

But during Thursday night's hour-long trip to the Dales (September 14), viewers were hopeful for Lydia as she headed to the police station. It came after she agreed to a family dinner with Sam, Mandy and Paddy before Samson arrived with Craig in tow. Sam then asked him to stay for his tea and he was quick to accept.
