Emmerdale fans say 'I knew' as they demand action over 'disgusting' move amid Craig 'whodunit'
Emmerdale fans have claimed they 'knew' a new storyline was coming as they branded the on-screen move as 'disgusting'. During Wednesday night's trip to the Dales (November 1), viewers saw Lydia Dingle's lock-in at the Woolpack continue as she tried to get to the bottom of Craig Reed's death.
Lydia has been quizzing her family in the pub following the discovery of her rapist's body in a field by Billy Fletcher. With a crime scene in place and police starting enquiries, Lydia wanted her family's stories straight in the hope of getting to the truth. She suspects it must be one of them who has killed her former childhood acquaintance after he raped her - before denying it - in shock scenes.
One by one, the Dingles have been having to give an alibi but each one is keeping a secret that hasn't got anything to do with Craig's death. In the mid-week episode, Mandy was seen getting emotional as she hid the fact that Eric Pollard confided in her following a heartbreaking diagnosis.

Viewers learned during the episode that Eric, played by Emmerdale's longest-serving cast member Chris Chittell, has been diagnosed with Parkinson's disease, the fastest-growing neurological condition in the world.
Lydia also turned her attention to Marlon who seemed surprised he could be a possible suspect. He revealed that he'd been to the hospital where he'd been given the good news that he'd been discharged from the hospital after suffering a life-changing stroke last year.
