Emmerdale fans have said they're 'praying' for the moment Tom King is caught as his twisted abuse of Belle took a fresh turn. Fans of the ITV soap haven't really trusted the character ever since he returned to the village and rekindled his romance with Belle last year after years apart.
There were then concerning scenes shown in October when Tom popped the question to Belle and didn't take her turning him down very well, assuming it meant she didn't love him. And Tom soon turned angry with Belle as when he attempted to storm out, she tried to stop but he violently pushed Belle, shouting "Leave me alone" as she hit her head on the table.
Belle forgave him for the accident and weeks later, Belle popped the question, with the help of sharing legends Jayne Torvill and Christopher Dean, to her boyfriend and the pair were seen tying the knot earlier this year.

But Emmerdale has confirmed that they will explore the nature of coercive control in a domestic abuse plotline involving the newly married couple and signs of that concerning behaviour have already begun.
