Emmerdale fans make major U-turn and say they 'feel sorry' for character after outburst

Emmerdale fans found themselves making an unexpected U-turn as they were left feeling sorry for Ruby Milligan-Fox after her latest outburst. The character, played by Beth Cordingly, has been ruffling feathers ever since her arrival in the village earlier this year.

Ruby made her first appearance in the Dales at the start of the year after Caleb and their son Nicky arrived in 2022 to try and fleece Kim Tate of Home Farm.

But fans of the ITV soap were confused about Ruby's intentions as she went behind her husband's back in a bid to team up with enemy Kim while also getting a case of the green-eyed monster when exposing his affair with his nephew's wife Tracy Robinson.

However, it seems to have become more and more obvious that Ruby doesn't want to loose Caleb to his new-found family and every time it seems that she's on the outside, she lashes out.

During Thursday's night's (April 4) episode of Emmerdale, after Caleb revealed he'd changed his mind about moving to Hotten with Ruby and irked by the revelation, Ruby followed her husband to The Woolpack and it wasn't long before she was making jibes at Caleb's half-sister Chas and the rest of the Dingle clan.

Intent on causing more trouble, she dropped the bombshell that she and Caleb had witnessed Cain's prison sentencing back in 2022, around the time Caleb tried to track them all down and slammed the Dingles for having disowned him after he slept with his nephew Nate Robinson's wife Tracy Metcalfe.
