Emmanuel Dennis Said Watford Are In A 'F***ed Up Situation' On TV

Emmanuel Dennis was possibly too honest following Watford's win over Aston Villa, swearing in his television interview when revealing what Roy Hodgson had said about the club's situation.

It's not been an easy season for Watford back in the Premier League, having bounced straight back up into the top tier following one season in the Championship.

Ranieri was replaced by one of the few active managers older than him, in the shape of Hodgson. The former England boss had gone three games without his scoring ahead of Saturday's game with Villa, and was already looking on thin ice.

Whilst speaking to the BBC, the 24-year-old let it slip that Hodgson had admitted the team were in a 'f***ed up situation.'

Dennis has been the biggest positive for the Hornets this season, and his winner against Villa was his ninth Premier League goal of the campaign.

It's already the striker's best league goal scoring season of his career to date, with the former Club Brugge forward previously only scoring at most seven goals in a league campaign.

His latest strike, coupled with Norwich City's loss to Liverpool, put the Hertfordshire side back into 18th place and just four points behind Newcastle United.

Even with their own win on Saturday, against Brentford, even the most ardent of Arsenal fans probably wouldn't disagree with Dennis' assessment.
