Emma Raducanu news: Fellow Brit Harriet Dart has warm words for the US Open champion

Emma Raducanu is about to embark on her Mexican adventure as she’s set to play two WTA 250 events in the country, the Abierto Zapopan in Guadalajara and the Abierto GNP Seguros in Monterrey, and she’s been given some encouraging words before she steps out on court.

Fellow Brit Harriet Dart, who is best known for reaching the 2021 Wimbledon mixed doubles final with Joe Salisbury, has passed on her advice and support to the 19-year-old sensation.

The world No 124 played in both of these competitions last year for the first time, so she knows exactly what Raducanu will be facing this week.

“She’s just embracing all the new challenges, I think she’ll adapt really well.”

The last time the US Open champion was seen on court competitively was at the Australian Open where she bowed out at the second round
