Emma Raducanu lives out motorsport dream at Porsche Carrera Cup GB

Emma Raducanu embraced another one of her sporting passions at the weekend when she made an appearance at the Porsche Carrera Cup GB.

As the tournament visited Brands Hatch for the second racing weekend of the season, the tennis sensation paid a visit to the track and even enjoyed a lap of the circuit.

Raducanu has revealed that away from the tennis court, she is a huge motorsport fan and she also recently became a brand ambassador for Porsche.

Her new business venture has made her childhood dream a reality — Raducanu not only works with a dream brand but she finally got to sit behind the wheel of a Porsche 911.

The world number 12 got into karting when she was just six years of age and grew up with Formula 1.

“I think it is a very cool activity and I love the feeling of going fast and racing,” she said. “The extreme accelerating and the hard braking, but I’m also interested in the mechanics and engineering.”

Raducanu also revealed her favourite F1 driver is Daniel Ricciardo,
