'Embarrassing and cringeworthy' - Paul Merson slams Manchester United with Newcastle prediction

Paul Merson has predicted Manchester United to fall to another defeat in the Premier League.

United host Newcastle this evening in their final home fixture of the campaign. The Reds go into the game on the back of a 1-0 defeat to Arsenal at the weekend where they lost further ground in the race for European qualification.

Newcastle are three points ahead of United in sixth, while Chelsea are seventh and also battling to qualify for Europe. And the Reds have been predicted to suffer another what would be a 15th top-flight defeat of the campaign.

“Arsenal played in second gear against Man United last weekend. If the Red Devils were still playing now, they still wouldn’t
