Elland Road transfer news: Leeds want Bielsa to stay at the club 'as things stand'

Journalist David Anderson believes that Leeds want Marcelo Bielsa to remain at the club beyond this season.

The Argentine usually operates by only signing one-year deals and is once again out of contract at the end of the current campaign.

This has possibly been the most testing of Bielsa’s four seasons in English football. He’s had to deal with an incredible amount of injuries, which have hampered his side’s chance of bettering their ninth place finish on their return to the Premier League.

But his long term future will surely come down to whether he feels he can take Leeds to the next level. Their injury problems and lack of transfer
