Elden Ring: New Game+ player absolutely destroys one of the hardest early bosses

Elden Ring is one of the biggest games ever and is also one of the most difficult AAA releases to come out in the last few years.

Developed by From Software, who also made the likes of Dark Souls and Bloodborne, this is one of their more accessible titles.

Still, that doesn’t stop it being absolutely rock hard at points.

That is perhaps evidenced by one of the very first enemies you’re going to find in Limgrave after you’ve done the tutorial.

That enemy is the Tree Sentinel, a huge enemy riding a huge horse who can teach you just how punishing this game can be.

One of your first instincts may be to dive in headfirst and attempt to beat the Tree Sentinel as soon as possible, but we’d advise against this.

As we stated in the guide we’ve written to beating him, you’ll need to get Torrent, your spectral steed, first, and you’ll also want to be levelled up enough that you can really deal some damage whenever you land a hit.

However, that strategy changes when you’re in New Game +.
