The transfer window is now officially open for business and Manchester United have their fingers in a number of pies to strengthen Ruben Amorim's squad.

United have already secured the signing of Matheus Cunha from Wolves after triggering his £62.5million release clause at Wolves. They are also confident in adding Bryan Mbeumo to Amorim's team with the Brentford star understood to prefer a move to Old Trafford despite interest from Thomas Frank's Tottenham.

Further down the line, a new striker remains a priority. United recorded their worst goalscoring season in 35 years last term and their intention to recruit one early in the window hit a stumbling block after Liam Delap joined Chelsea.
