Eintracht Frankfurt send classy Rangers message ahead of Scottish Cup Final via the Daily Record back page

Eintracht Frankfurt have sent Rangers a good luck message ahead of their Scottish Cup showdown through the Daily Record back page.

Giovanni van Bronckhorst's men suffered a heartbreaking defeat in the Europa League Final, losing out on penalties against the Bundesliga side in Seville.

However, the bonds clearly remain strong between the two clubs with Frankfurt sending the club a classy message ahead of the showdown with Hearts.

The Bundesliga outfit took to the Record Sport pages to laud the club and their fans during their time in Seville.

They wrote: "Rangers, it was an honour for us.

"You were a fantastic opponent with your countless fans. Together we showed how football should be!

"Emotional, passionate, and fair. Greatness is revealed in defeat, especially in such dramatic fashion, just like 62 years ago.

"You are a great club! See you soon. Bring home the up win this weekend! You deserve it."

Frankfurt also shared the back page on their social media ahead of today's clash at the national stadium.

Rangers fans were full of praise for Frankfurt after seeing the classy advert in this morning's paper.

One said on Twitter: "Massive respect to Frankfurt for this. I love how we have built good relationships with most of our opponents this season on our journey."

Another added: "Have to admit, Frankfurt have class."

And another Rangers supporter said: "What a generous message. Congratulations on your win!"
