Eintracht Frankfurt beat Rangers on penalties to win the Europa League

Eintracht Frankfurt have won the UEFA Europa League after beating Rangers in a penalty shootout.

Aaron Ramsey’s lacklustre strike proved to be incredibly costly, with the German side converting all of their penalties – and Rafael Santos Borre stylishly scoring the decisive spot kick.

It was the Colombian striker who equalised in normal time after Joe Aribo’s opener and Allan McGregor had absolutely no chance of saving his perfect effort from 12 yards in the shootout.
