eFootball: Konami will not renew partnership with Juventus and Serie A TIM

It has been confirmed that Konami will not renew the partnership with Juventus and Serie A TIM.

The announcement was made in a brief press release, indicating that their licensing contract with Serie A and the Italian giants is coming to an end.However, the club’s representation will not be affected in either the eFootball 2022 console or mobile versions.

According to the developers, this will not affect any users’ acquired Dream Team players and can be used as normal in-game.

With that said, the most recent information could indirectly spark the presence of Juventus in the new chapter of the EA Sports football simulator.

Since the cat’s out of the bag, it looks like FIFA 23 will feature Juventus in full licensing for the first time since Konami’s exclusive partnership with the Italian club ended in 2019.

However, following this announcement, the developers further mentioned that other Italian partner clubs Napoli, Lazio, AS Roma, and Atalanta will continue to be available exclusively in eFootball.
