Eddie the Eagle voted out of ITV's Dancing On Ice following quarter-final
The latest celeb to be voted off of Dancing On Ice can now be revealed.
Six couples went up against in tonight's quarter-final. Among them was Coronation Street star Ryan Thomas, radio host Adele Roberts and former Olympic ski jumper Eddie 'the Eagle' Edwards. Alongside them were Love Island winner and West End performer Amber Davies, Made in Chelsea's Miles Nazaire and former Olympic long jumper Greg Rutherford.
However, despite a well-received performance, it was ultimately decided that Eddie would not be returning for next week's semi-final. In tonight's show, he performed with Vicky Ogden while What Makes You Beautiful by One Direction played in the backdrop, garnering a total of 33.5 points out of 40.

Eddie and Vicky went up against Amber and Simon in a skate-off where they were ultimately voted off following a decision from head judge Christopher Dean. Following his skate-off performance, Eddy said he felt: "Good, really good" despite the pressure.
After coming in late to the competition, Eddie said he has been trying to catch up with the other contestants, who have had more time to prepare. But he said being a skier has not given him the advantage that some might think.
"There’s a lot of pressure now that everybody thinks I’m going to be a really, really good skater," he said ahead of the first show. “I’m a really, really bad skater at the moment. It’s a completely different sport. When I ski I automatically get myself into a certain stance. That stance is not a good stance for skating, which is why I keep falling on my face, because I’m used to arching my back and going forwards."
Dancing on Ice's semi-final will be broadcast next Sunday on ITV
