Bournemouth gained automatic promotion to the Premier League on Tuesday night when they beat Nottingham Forest 1-0.

The game was a close encounter with both sides wanting the win for the prize of automatic promotion.

The side were relegated in the 2019-20 season but after two seasons, are back to the top flight.

Former manager Eddie Howe admitted he watched the game as he told journalist Chris Waugh: “I actually sat down and watched the game, and I haven’t watched many Bournemouth games since I left. I’m delighted for them and I’m so pleased for Scott Parker, who’s done a wonderful job. It’s great to see them back.”
