Ed Sheeran in Manchester - food and drink prices at Etihad Stadium

Over the next four nights in Manchester, some 240,000 music fans will flock to see Ed Sheeran at his huge gigs at the Etihad Stadium. For those unfamiliar with the city or the venue, it's always great to know what the food and drink options will be at the stadium itself.

And luckily for those heading to the concert, there's a whole wealth of food and drink options inside and outside the ground that you can enjoy. The stadium, the home of Premier League champions Manchester City, plays host to a full fanzone area with a mix of independent food and drink operators.

Here you can get everything from Northern Soul 's famous grilled cheese sandwiches to Ancoats' finest hip hop chippy fish and chips. There are also a host of food and drink options once you head inside the stadium.

Drinks are on the pricey side though, so be prepared to pay anywhere from £5.75 to £6.80 for a pint of beer and around £6.50 for a glass of wine and £7 for spirits and mixer. Soft drinks are priced from £2.50 for bottles of water and £3.50 for fizzy pop.

Food ranges from £3.50 for chips, £6 for burgers and £5.50 for grilled cheese sandwiches and £7 for vegan hotdogs. There are a host of different stalls catering for different needs including gluten free, vegetarian and vegan options.

Global guitar star Ed will be taking to the stage at around 8pm each night at the Etihad Stadium gigs, although doors will open for ticketholders to head into the ground from 4pm for the Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday gigs in Manchester.
