EastEnders star Lacey Turner reveals 'micky taking' by co-stars over 20-year routine as she teases soap return

EastEnders star Lacey Turner has revealed the same routine she has had throughout her two decades on the show which appears to cause much amusement to her co-stars. The actress is best known, and much-loved, for playing Stacey Slater in the BBC One soap.

The actress joined the soap back in 2004, when 15-year-old Stacey arrived on the square to live with her great-uncle Charlie and adoptive grandmother Mo after being thrown out by her mother, Jean. But her behaviour led to her being sent back to Jean before she eventually returned and made Walford her home.

Ever since, Stacey has tackled everything from an affair with her husband Bradley's dad, Max Branning, to being diagnosed with bipolar disorder and killing Archie Mitchell. Lacey left the role of Stacey in 2010 and after bagging roles in the likes of Our Girl, she reprised her role in EastEnders four years later, in 2014, and was soon thrust into what became a highly acclaimed postpartum psychosis storyline.

And the drama doesn't stop for Stacey with her teenage daughter recently giving birth, just as she discovered her stalker was Theo, Lily's geography teacher. But that's not all as this Christmas, she is being teased as being one of six culprits as a man will be found dead in the Queen Vic.

But back to Lacey and the actress has taken fans of the show behind the scenes with her. In a TikTok clip dubbed a 'Day in the Life' filmed by the EastEnders social team, the soap star could be seen arriving at the studio ready for her day ahead. She explained that she was on the set a little later than usual but that wasn't going to change her routine.
