EastEnders' Max Bowden and Matt Lapinskas play Sellebrity Soccer match

EastEnders' Max Bowden took part in a Sellebrity Soccer match in Northampton on Sunday, days after it was revealed he is going to be a dad for the first time as his ex-girlfriend Roisin Buckle is pregnant.

The Ben Mitchell actor, 27, was seen getting stuck into the game as he donned a green football strip at the charity event.

He played alongside co-star Matt Lapinskas who showed off his impressive physique as he was snapped shirtless.

Max split from insurance executive Roisin, 36, earlier this year but the pair are said to be 'delighted' at the prospect of becoming parents and found out they were expecting some time ago.

A friend told The Sun: 'They broke up earlier this year. There was no one else involved, it just simply didn't work out.
