EA Sports PGA Tour coming in Spring 2023, devs reveal

The developers of the next-gen golf game have announced that EA Sports PGA Tour will be arriving in Spring 2023.

The Canadian giants, who are also responsible for the likes of FIFA 22 and F1 2021, have been working tirelessly to bring golf fans around the world an all-new experience as far as gameplay is concerned.

EA have full rights to the four major tournaments of the year, including The Masters in Augusta, the PGA Championship, the US Open in California and The Open Championship in the UK.

Along with this, there will be a wide array of venues that will be available for players to drive, pitch and putt on, as they test their skills on some of the world’s most challenging courses.

EA announced that Spring 2023 will be the timeframe in which they aim to launch PGA Tour, which was significantly later than initially planned and a date that was disclosed during their FY22 Q3 earnings back at the beginning of February 2022.

Within EA’s press release, they announced that their Frostbite engine “with ultra-realistic visuals that will make fans feel like they are right in the middle of the action on some of the most iconic courses in the world.”
