EA announce new Lord of the Rings mobile game

EA have announced a new Lord of the Rings mobile game is to be released, with them collaborating with Middle Earth Enterprises on the title.

Not much is known yet about the new game in development, but one thing that is for certain it will be released for mobile-only and it will be free to play, with the title of the game being confirmed as The Lord of the Rings: Heroes of Middle-earth.

EA have developed many Lord of the Rings games in the past, with some of the popular titles including The Lord of the Rings: Conquest, The Lord of the Rings: The Third Age and the earliest of the games – The Lord of The Rings: The Two Towers.
