Dying Light 2: Metacritic Score Revealed

Critics have had the chance to get their hands on Dying Light 2: Stay Human with the game’s official release date just days away.

Techland’s sequel to their first-person parkour-based shooter is based in an apocalyptic world filled with zombies and undead creatures, which has been eagerly anticipated by superfans of the series. 

Dying Light 2 was initially scheduled to be launched on 7th December last year, but the developers pushed this back to February as a result of community feedback taken from beta tests carried out. 

Because of this, Techland have had the opportunity to iron out those creases during those two months before reviewers had the opportunity to put Dying Light 2 through its paces, sampling the gameplay experience, functionality and other factors.

With this in mind, a vast amount of reviews have now been published and are now available to view – with some more impressed than others.

Critique website Metacritic is a known source in the gaming industry that compiles a collection of reviews that will help give the paying public more insight before purchasing games, and Dying Light 2 is a game that has been included, also.

At the time of writing, Dying Light 2 has been given a Metascore of 77 from 46 different reviews that have been provided, which range from verdicts of as low as 40 right up to 95 out of 100.

While no gaming developer can please everyone, Dying Light 2 has certainly split the room more than most new games that have been released recently.
