Dying Light 2: How to use Twitch drops

Dying Light 2 has been out for some time now on Xbox Series X/S, PS5 and PC, as well as last-generation consoles, and there is the potential to utilise Twitch drops to ensure you’ve got the best possible kit to fight the zombie horde but how does it work?

Techland’s new release has been met with a positive critical reception and the PS5 version currently sits at a score of 77 on Metacritic from 52 critic reviews.

The game has 37 positive reviews and players have been exploring the world of Villedor, leaping from building to building using the parkour system, and hacking and slashing zombies as well.

Techland have confirmed that there is the option of utilising Twitch to bolster your resources and your chances of surviving the fight.

This all depends on how long you’re willing to watch Twitch for!

Each reward will be earned after watching for an hour at a time, and rewards go up to five hours.

You can unlock an axe, a mask, a helmet, a crossbow and a sword should you put the time in on the streaming website. The list and the hours required can be found on TechlandGG’s website.

As noted before, if you don’t have the safe house, you won’t have anywhere to save your unlocks, so make sure you’ve progressed far enough into the game to have that unlocked before logging on to watch some streams!

TechlandGG have reported some technical issues with the receiving of rewards so if you’ve unlocked the gear, be patient for it to appear in the game; it may not come up immediately on your console.
