DWP claimants who missed Cost of Living payment can still claim up to £1,050
New benefit claimants who missed out on the Cost of Living payments worth more than £1,050 may still be able to get some extra cash.
The Department for Work and Pensions (DWP) has previously highlighted that a household can become "retrospectively entitled" to a cost of living payment - or if they believe they were entitled but didn't receive one - can still claim any payments they missed out on from previous rollouts.
The DWP's claim page for reporting a missing payment is still allowing people to send in applications for the 2023/24 period. Four cost of living payments were issued throughout this period.
