Both Dustin Poirier and Michael Chandler had to be separated by security at UFC 276 at the T-Mobile Arena
Headlined by Israel Adesanya vs Jared Cannonier, the event was attended by many celebrities and sporting icons
Sitting cage-side was Chandler and the former UFC interim lightweight champion Poirier. Top welterweight contender Gilbert Burns filmed the altercation between the two.
The verbal spat lasted just 30 seconds with both Chandler and Poirier looking very angry.
Security had to stop things from getting physical in Las Vegas. The light heavyweight champion, Jiri Prochazka had to step in and restrain Poirier.
In the video, Poirier appeared to call Chandler “a fake motherf****r.” He also added, “I’ll f*** you up.”
Chandler is coming off of a knockout win over the former interim champion, Tony Ferguson back in May.
After the fight, Chandler called for a fight against Charles Oliveira or Justin Gaethje. He also said he would be willing to fight Conor McGregor at welterweight.
