Dusan Vlahovic's potential move to Juventus compared to Cristiano Ronaldo arrival

Dusan Vlahovic's potential move to Juventus has been compared to the club's signing of Manchester United star Cristiano Ronaldo.

It had been believed that both Manchester City and Arsenal were keen to sign the Serbian forward however reports in Italy have suggested that the 21-year-old is destined for Juve.

Vlahovic has scored 20 goals in 24 first team appearances for Fiorentina this season which has left Massimiliano Allegri and chairman of Juventus, Andrea Agnelli, very impressed.

Speaking to La Stampa via Tuttojuve, former Juve man Alessio Tacchinardi compared the potential signing to like that of Ronaldo.

"The president moved all-in like when he bought Cristiano Ronaldo. Goals are Vlahovic’s guarantee," he explained.

"The last time I saw a purchase so capable of shifting the balance in January was that of [Edgar] Davids, from Milan to Juventus."

With Vlahovic looking set to stay in Italy, fans of Manchester City are now even keener for the club to sign Erling Haaland - most likely at the end of the season.
