Current 'Well number one Liam Kelly was named Player of the Year for his performances this season.

Now Hinchliffe will depart for Tannadice now the 2021/22 Premiership campaign has come to a close.

Graham Alexander is 'disappointed' to see the former Arbroath goalkeeper depart the Steelmen for a club he spent two years between 2013 and 2015 as they reached the 2014 Scottish Cup Final.

He said: “I’m obviously disappointed to see Hinchy go, but he goes with nothing but full respect and affection from me.

“He’s been brilliant to work with and played a big part in our success this season.

"I know how much the players liked him, especially the keepers who have all benefited from his expertise. We all wish him the best of luck for the future.”
