Dujon Sterling admits Rangers have been 's***' as he offers inside track on dressing room mindset

Dujon Sterling has admitted Rangers have been s*** over the last three games and that dismal drop off in form has left their Premiership hopes hanging in the balance.

The English defender hasn’t sugar-coated things as two points from a possible nine games has seen the Light Blues go from title favourites to chasers. Sterling knows their performances have been more like a team whose season is already dead and the Rangers fans were right to turn on them after the 0-0 draw at Dundee. The 24-year-old, who is looking to bounce back in Sunday’s Scottish Cup semi-final against Hearts, said: "We owe ourselves a performance as well because we have been s*** the past three games.

"I think we need to reset and do it for the fans as well because they have come home and away, backing us, singing for 90 minutes/95 minutes/100 minutes and we owe it to them. Obviously, I understand why the fans are angry after the game but hopefully they can still back us for the rest of the game and still push us on.

"Yes, Obviously the past two weeks have been disappointing results and I know they have seen it before over the past years. Hopefully we can change that but we will see."

Rangers came back to get a point against Celtic but then lost to Ross County and then drew another blank against Dundee. Sterling knows his team needs to find more of a cutting edge and quickly going into the final straight.

"It's got to be ruthless,” he claimed. "We are fighting for a title and the way we are playing as is we are not playing for anything, like the season is dead and it is a dead rubber game.

"Somehow it has got to switch. I don't have the words to do it or know how to do it. It is a team thing, not just one person and not just the gaffer. Difficult to
