Dublin ladies team to take celebrations to Naul after All-Ireland win
The Dublin ladies senior football team will be bringing the Brendan Martin Cup to the captain’s hometown a day after winning the All-Ireland Senior Ladies' Football Championship.
The team won the final against Kerry, with a final score of 0-18 to 1-10 in Croke Park.
In a social media post last night, the Dubs said they are delighted to be bringing the Brendan Martin cup along to the Mansion House at 4pm this afternoon.
They will then travel to captain Carla Rowe’s home club Clann Mhuíre in Naul for a reception. This will take place at around 6.15pm this evening.
The club said they "can’t wait to welcome Brendan but most importantly the @dublin_lgfa" to the area, while also encouraging supporters to join in on the celebrations.
