DT Hargrave stays in NFC North, joins Packers on 2-year deal - ESPN

Defensive tackle Javon Hargrave reached agreement Wednesday on a two-year, $23 million contract with the with the Green Bay Packers, agent Drew Rosenhaus told ESPN's Adam Schefter.

Hargrave's contract including $13 million for the 2026 season, Rosenhaus told Schefter.

Hargrave was officially released by the Minnesota Vikings on Wednesday.

Hargrave signed a two-year contract last year with the Vikings last year after recovering from a torn right triceps that cut short his 2024 season with the San Francisco 49ers.

He started 15 games at age 33 but managed only 3.5 sacks and was set to earn $15 million with a cap number of $21.7 million for the 2026 season.

Selected in the third round of the 2016 draft by the Pittsburgh Steelers, Hargrave has 49 sacks in 10 seasons. He has been selected to two Pro Bowls.
