Drug dealers scoff on camera as they boast in bath and flog 'last spliff in Blackburn' before being jailed

A gang of drug dealers has been sentenced to a combined total of over 50 years in prison after flaunting their extravagant lifestyle.

The group of 11, hailing from Blackburn, Darwen and Leicester, were caught when police arrested them in Cheltenham and discovered a series of videos where they were seen surrounded by cash and drugs. In one such video, a member of the gang is seen enjoying a glass of champagne in a bubble bath.

The criminals were apprehended following an investigation by the Serious and Organised Crime Unit into the POLO drugs line. The operation was led by Uwais Hassanjee and his right-hand men Kazi Ahmed and Jamil Ahmed, both 23 years old, according to GloucestershireLive.

Besotted stalker inundated her neighbour with unsolicited letters, cards and gifts, reports Lancs Live.

Hassanjee, 32, named his drug line after his own nickname. He would procure large amounts of heroin and cocaine before transporting them to Gloucestershire for further distribution, controlling other members of the group who would transport and supply the drugs on his behalf.

Surveillance officers watched as Hassanjee enlisted 24-year-old Bradley McPhee, 30-year-old Daniel Brady/Darby and later 21-year-old Ciaran Winser, who were residing in Blackburn and Leicester at the time, into the conspiracy with the allure of a luxurious lifestyle. They were also provided with free lodging at upscale rental properties in Cheltenham.
