Drew McIntyre urges West Ham to act as horrifying Kurt Zouma cat video emerges

WWE Superstar Drew McIntyre has commented on the horrifying situation surrounding West Ham defender Kurt Zouma and his cat.

On Monday evening, The Sun shared footage of former Chelsea defender Kurt Zouma kicking and slapping his cat.

Fans have been left truly horrified by the ordeal, with many across the footballing world left shocked by the video of Zouma physically assaulting his pet.

The story hasn’t just caught the attention of people within football, but its impact has been felt in other sports too.

Taking to Twitter, former WWE Champion Drew McIntyre commented on the situation, sharing his disgust at the video.

McIntyre said that he is “struggling to put into words” how he felt at seeing the Premier League ace attack his pet, saying that no animal should be “subject to abuse”.

McIntyre added that Zouma’s actions were “truly disgusting”, going on to say that the situation is especially bad considering that the centre-back is supposed to be a role model.

I'm struggling to put into words how I feel about this distressing footage. Truly disgusting actions from Kurt Zouma who is meant to be a role model. No helpless animal should ever be subject to abuse like this. I would like to know how @WestHam plan to punish these actions? https://t.co/ZOPyqFVIxL

McIntyre concluded by saying that he’d like to know how West Ham plans on remedying the situation.

West Ham provided The Sun with a statement on the matter, stating that they condemn Zouma’s actions and will be dealing with the matter internally:
